Bullard to market at Walden Park

Coldwell Banker Bullard Realty, the oldest and largest real estate company headquartered in the Metro South area of Atlanta, has been named to market homes for the TownPark Custom Homes Group in Walden Park, a 591-acre master-planned community in South Fulton County.

The TownPark Custom Builder Group, which is building in Walden Park's Marquee and Interlude neighborhoods, is composed of several of Atlanta's top custom builders, including Homebuilders Construction, Nesbitt Lord & Company, and Covenant Builders International. All three builders are active in the Marquee neighborhood, while Nesbitt Lord & Company is introducing a new series of upscale ranch homes in Interlude.

Harrison Miller of Coldwell Banker Bullard Realty's Tri-County/Riverdale office is the on-site sales agent in the TownPark Custom Builder Group's decorated and furnished model home, at 709 Walden Boulevard in Walden Park. The telephone number is 770-774-9003.

Located on West Stubbs Road between Butner Road and Cascade Palmetto Highway, Walden Park is a mixed-use development which can also be described as environmentally-friendly, pedestrian-friendly and children-friendly. The homes in the community range in price from the $160,000s to the $600,000s.

Other builders in Walden Park, each of whom has its own in-house marketing representatives, include Sharon McSwain Homes, Traton Homes, Ryland Homes and David Weekley Homes.

The development is the first master-planned community in South Fulton County and is one of the TownPark planned developments from The Macauley Companies, headed by Stephen H. Macauley. The land plan for the community includes a wide variety of housing choices, police and fire facilities, the TownMarket area with a retail complex within walking distance of the residential neighborhoods, and the Walden Park Family Club with its extensive recreational facilities.

An important aspect of the developer's TownPark plan for Walden Park is 200-plus acres of land devoted to parks and open space. Included in this environmentally-friendly community is a conservation easement of 160 acres granted to The Nature Conservancy.

The amenities area consists of the Walden Park Grand Clubhouse, which has a social room with a fireplace; open-air pavilion; and patios overlooking the swimming pool in the aquatic center. Also in the Family Club area are the Jubilee Amphitheater, a children's play center, a basketball court, a volleyball court, a tennis center, and a village green.
