Mammograms urged

Fayette Health Department officials are urging women 40 and older to get yearly mammograms.

"Breast cancer cannot be prevented, but it can be detected early when it's the most treatable," said Cynthia Grant, public health nurse.

For those who don't have insurance and can't afford the screening, resources are available, Grant said. Phone 770-461-1178, extension 5416.
