Chamber seeks youth leaders The Fayette County Chamber of Commerce in conjunction with the Fayette County Board of Education has announced that applications for the 2002 Youth Leadership Fayette program are now available. The program is open to junior and senior students in Fayette County. This includes all home-taught students and students attending private schools within the county. Applications and additional information are available at the public school counseling offices and at the Chamber of Commerce. Alumni from the inaugural class will also be distributing information and applications. The application deadline is Nov. 2 at 5 p.m. It is necessary for students to write an essay and attain several references. See application for details.
