Fair features environmental know-how

Worried about that black fungus growing in your yard?

Concerned about the amount of water you are applying to your yard? Need to attract honeybees to your garden? Find your clay yard too much to bare?

Then join the Fayette County Extension Office at the Environmental Fair Saturday, Oct. 27 at the Fayette County Library. Master Composters and Master Gardeners will be on hand to answer questions about proper watering of your lawn, composting and worm composting, general gardening questions, as well as a display hosted by a local beekeeper.

The educational fair is open to the public from 10 a.m. to noon. A Master Gardener or Composter will staff each fair table. A variety of literature on each topic will be available free of charge and a demonstration garden "Plant a Row" will be available for inspection.

For information phone 770-460-5730 ext. 5412.
