Local man accused of sexual assault on his stepdaughter A Fayette County man has been arrested for sexually assaulting his 16-year-old stepdaughter. David Henderson, 40, was arrested Tuesday, Sept. 5. Magistrate Court Judge Robert A. Ruppenthal denied him bond in a hearing last week, indicating that Henderson's previous criminal record warranted him remaining in jail. Henderson is charged with aggravated sexual battery, incest and three counts of sodomy. According to arrest warrants, the incidents took place between June 13 and September 3. Georgia Department of Corrections records indicate Henderson was released June 13 on parole after serving almost one year. He had originally been sentenced to six years in prison for possession of a firearm by a convicted felon and possession of marijuana, records indicate. John Munford
