Freedom Fund Banquet program is shaping up The Fayette County NAACP's fourth annual Freedom Fund Banquet, scheduled for Oct. 27, is shaping up to be a great fund-raiser and social event, according to branch President the Rev. Edward J. Johnson. Local individuals will be honored for outstanding community service or distinguished achievement during the banquet, an annual gala established to celebrate freedom and to fund the NAACP's programs. It will be at the Wyndham Hotel and Conference Center. The program will include a social hour, dinner, speaker's address, entertainment, an awards ceremony and dancing.
