Wednesday, September 12, 2001 Crown River more than 70 percent sold Crown River, one of the top-selling communities in Henry County the past three years, is now more than 70 percent sold. After three years of robust sales, just thirty opportunities remain to purchase a new home in one of the three neighborhoods at Crown River, according to Dottie Wise, the community's on-site sales manager for the Builder-Developer Marketing Group of Metro Brokers/GMAC Real Estate. Wise attributes the community's success to new schools that serve the neighborhood and referrals from current homeowners. "This community has struck a chord with so many homebuyers the last three years," Wise said. "And when you consider that no other community in Henry County can match the amenities we have here, the new schools, the peaceful location or the sheer beauty of the land.It's not surprising." In Parkview at Crown River, where homes are priced from the $160's to the $190's, only two opportunities remain. Just six homes remain in Woodridge at Crown River, where prices range from the $190's to the mid $250's. However, the fastest selling neighborhood in recent months has been Riverwalk at Crown River, the crown jewel of the community. As a result, only twenty-two opportunities remain to purchase a new home in Riverwalk, which features a custom home program with river view homesites and prices from the $250's to the $400's. Crown River is nestled alongside Big Cotton Indian Creek and offers one of the most exciting amenity packages in Henry County with 35 acres of parks and nature trails, a swimming pool, tennis courts, pavilion and a children's playground. The community's tree-lined streets will eventually feature 700 maple trees to go along with more than four miles of sidewalks. Crown River is in the new East Lake and Union Grove school district. Earlier this year, the community received the 2000 Professionalism Award from the Greater Atlanta Home Builders Association for Best Land Plan in the Metro Atlanta region. The award is the first ever for a community in Henry County, one of the nation's fastest growing counties in recent years. To visit Crown River, take I-75 to Exit 228 (Stockbridge Road - Highway 138). Go east on Highway 138, continue right at Wal-Mart on Highway/42 through Stockbridge. Turn right on Miller's Mill Road. Turn left on Highway155 North and right on Kelleytown Road. Turn right on Airline Road and Crown River is on the left - only 20 minutes from I-75.
