Planners eye busy agenda for September

It looks like September will be a busy month for the Fayetteville Planning and Zoning Commission, with a lenghty agenda scheduled for Tuesday's work session at 7 p.m. at City Hall. The regular meeting is set for Sept. 25.

Items scheduled for consideration include:

Development plans and a variance request concerning parking for Chuck E. Cheese on Ga. Highway 85 in the Fayette Retail Center.

A variance request concerning area and yard requirements for Stonebriar phase three on Lester and Old Norton roads.

Development plans and a variance request concerning area and yard requirements for J & J Quality Homes, lot 24 E. Industrial Park.

A variance request for yard and fences for Sandra B. Lunsford at 100 Kaylee Court.

A rezoning request from C-3 to PCD for The Villages at Fayette Promenade.

A variance request concerning area, yard and height requirements for Fenwyck Commons.

A special exception request concerning a drive-through for Hotlanta Wings at 885 N. Glynn Street.

A rezoning request from DR-15 to C-2 for Timothy R. Breyne at 180 S. Jeff Davis.

Elevation plans for Haverty's Furniture at 11302 Hwy. 85 north, in the former Roberds building.

Preliminary phase two development plans for The Villages at LaFayette Park.

An update on the proposed city amphitheater is scheduled as a discussion item.
