PROBE fair coming to Sandy Creek High School High school juniors and seniors who are planning to continue their education after graduation will have an opportunity to gather valuable information about various post-secondary institutions at the PROBE Fair scheduled at Sandy Creek High School this month. More than 120 admissions representatives from colleges, universities and technical schools from across the nation will be at the fair Sept. 18 from 6:30-8:30 p.m. to talk to students and parents about their educational opportunities and answer questions that they might have about college life. Items such as college catalogs, applications, scholarship information and other informative material will be distributed to interested participants. "The fair provides a forum for students and parents to ask questions and learn more about various institutions without traveling to individual campuses. It's a valuable resource for anyone considering post-secondary options," said Kelly Floyd, counselor at Sandy Creek High School. In addition, a financial aid representative from the Georgia Department of Education will be available to answer questions and give advice about various types of funding to assist students and their parents with the cost of a college education. Approximately 3,000 students and parents are expected to be at the fair. High school juniors and seniors are invited. Invitational flyers have also been sent to students in surrounding Fulton, Henry, Coweta and Griffin-Spalding counties.
