HMC cardiac classes set

Henry Medical Center is offering "Your Hearts Desire" cardiac education classes Sept. 4, 6, 11 and 12 from 9:30-11:30 a.m.

The program is designed for patients with coronary artery disease, but is open to anyone interested in participating. The classes will contain information on nutrition, tobacco, stress reduction, medications, exercise, goal setting, and current treatment and prevention guidelines.

The classes are being taught by a cardiologist, dietician, nurse, pharmacist, physical therapist and counselor. The follow-up session will help participants check their progress and review goal setting for the future.
