Local man arrested for molesting girl A Fayette man has been arrested on charges he molested a young girl at his residence between March of 1997 and June 20 of this year. Phillip E. Higginbotham, 47, was arrested last week for two felony counts of child molestation, two felony counts of aggravated child molestation and one count of felony aggravated sexual battery. According to the warrants filed for his arrest, Higginbotham committed the offenses at his home on Marion Boulevard. He has been released from jail on a $60,750 property bond.
