Police have filed several charges against a Fayetteville teen stemming from a recent automobile wreck on Northlake Drive in Peachtree City. Nicholas Yebba, 17, has been charged with racing, reckless driving, speeding and failure to maintain lane. The wreck occurred the evening of Saturday, July 14, on Northlake Drive across from the Aberdeen Village shopping center. Fire officials said the vehicle involved in the accident struck a tree head-on. The Honda Civic "was totally destroyed," according to Peachtree City Fire Chief Stony Lohr. The Peachtree City Fire and Rescue Department treated four patients at the accident scene, including Andrew Cyrus, who had multi-system trauma and was flown by Life Net helicopter to Grady Memorial Hospital, Lohr said. All four victims were out of the vehicle by the time paramedics arrived, Lohr said. Yebba, Jonathan Spencer and James Strausbaugh were taken to Southern Regional Hospital where they were later released. Police have not yet released the accident report from the crash.
