Applicants sought for 2 seats on Peachtree City Planning Commission

Peachtree City is accepting applications for two positions on the Planning Commission.

Interested persons may apply in person at City Hall; the deadline is Friday, Aug. 17.

The seats are currently held by Wes Saunders, who serves as chairman, and Jim Finney. They can re-apply for another two-year term if they choose, but the final selections will be made by the City Council.

A selection committee will likely interview each candidate and make a recommendation to council.
