Police Blotter
The following arrests were reported by the Peachtree City Police Department for the past week: Michael Pierson, 33, of Newnan June 17 for DUI, driving with a suspended license and making an improper lane change. A 14-year-old juvenile of Peachtree City was charged with June 18 for simple battery (family violence) and unruly child. Toni Davis Isbell, 22, of Fairburn June 19 for driving with a suspended license. Joyce Tibbs, 53, of Peachtree City June 19 for simple battery. Sandra Myrick, 36, of Peachtree City June 19 for possession of marijuana (less than one ounce). Michael Lafferty, 39, of Tyrone June 19 for obstruction of a police officer, possession of an open container of alcohol and failure to maintain lane. James Butler Jr., 58, of Union City June 21 for possession of cocaine, speeding, obstruction of a police officer and driving with a suspended license. Roger Cole, 45, of Newnan June 22 for violation of probation. Harry James Cortese, 59, of Tyrone June 25 for driving while unlicensed and a seatbelt violation.
Police are also investigating: A report of a suspect exposing himself to a juvenile on the cart path at Stevens Entry. The suspect is described as approximately 40 years old with salt and pepper hair. Police say the suspect was standing in the door of a white van when the incident occurred. A white EZ-GO golf cart that was stolen from the Iris Glen area June 21-22. An EZ-GO golf cart that was stolen from Harmony Village Apartments June 22.
