Police Blotter Arrests
The following arrests were reported by the Fayette County Sheriff's Department for the past week:
Jerry Dean Carswell, 39, for violation of probation. John Scott Morris, 21, for violation of probation. Katie Diane Henry, 19, for theft by shoplifting. Joshua Aaron Rickman, 19, for criminal trespassing. William O'Dell McClain, 54, for passing a bad check. Josephine Angenette Scotton, 50, for passing a bad check. Douglas Dyar, 33, for DUI, speeding, weaving, driving with a suspended license, failure to yield to an emergency vehicle and failure to stop at a stop sign. Jackson Lee McGuffin, 35, for driving with a suspended license, driving without insurance, driving with an expired tag, concealing the identity of a vehicle, giving a false name to a police officer and possession of a controlled substance. Henry Lee Turner, 34, for simple battery. Hardy Clements McKinley, 34, for giving a false name to a police officer. Paul Shane Carroll, 20, for passing a bad check. Donald Ray Dixson, 62, for deposit account fraud. Terry Lynn Long, 18, for four counts of financial transaction card fraud and one count of theft by receiving. Jerry Lamar Benton, 51, for obtaining a controlled substance through fraudulent means. Alexander Julio Stephan, 24, for child molestation. James Phillip Skinner, 27, for violation of probation. Ryan Scevon Howell, 28, for theft by shoplifting. Leslie Howard Page, 45, for violation of unemployment compensation laws. Demetrist Long, 39, for one felony count of theft by taking. Michael V.
