Home Source reps earn designations

Cynthia Cromartie, Susan Fitzgerald, and Nancy Crowe of The Home Source Realtors have received advanced real estate education designations.

Cromartie joins an elite 5 percent of Realtors nationwide who hold the Certified Residential Specialist (CRS) designation presented by The Council of Residential Specialists. Qualifications include closing at least 75 residential transactions, holding the Graduate, Realtor Institute (GRI) designation, and successful completion of three two-day CRS courses.

Fitzgerald and Crowe have earned the Accredited Buyer Representation (ABR) designation following a comprehensive two-day course in buyer representation, a written exam on legal and practical aspects of client representation, and practical experience in the field of buyer representation.

"The ABR designation is the benchmark of excellence in buyer agency service. It demonstrates to clients an agent's continuing education in the field of buyer representation, and proven experience and training to deliver ethical and professional service to real estate buyers," according to Terry McDermott of the Real Estate Buyer's Agent Council of the National Association of Realtors.

"Our real estate professionals take pride in providing the most up-to-date service to our home buyers and sellers. Advanced education in the rapidly-changing real estate field is a priority at The Home Source Realtors," said Tutt Larsen, the company's executive vice president and qualifying broker.

Fitzgerald, with more than 12.5 million in residential sales during 2000, has been named among Atlanta's top six individual real estate agents working with General Brokerage companies. Communities Magazine recently included Fitzgerald on their list of Atlanta's Best 100 Realtors.

Fitzgerald has earned The Home Source Realtors' Agent of the Year honors each year since affiliating with the company's Peachtree City General Brokerage office in 1995. She has been a Realtor since 1992, and a Registered Appraiser since 1994.

A genuine interest in helping home buyers and home sellers and superior customer service are hallmarks of Fitzgerald's business, according to her customers and fellow real estate professionals. A diminutive dynamo, her hectic 60-plus hour weeks often include late evening appointments and paperwork, and constant phone, fax, and email communications with her customers.

It was Fitzgerald's outgoing personality and communication skills that lead her to real estate. "I really enjoy working with people, and I like houses. The real estate profession is a good fit," she said. "I like the fast pace and constantly meeting new people."

"Susan is a true professional," said Tutt Larsen, The Home Source Realtors executive vice president and qualifying broker. "She has that unique blend of dedication and organization that make her a leader, and generosity and caring that are appreciated by customers and her business contemporaries She is adept at listening to the housing needs and desires of buyers and sellers, and goes out of her way to provide quick and efficient assistance."

Fitzgerald is a member of the Fayette County Board of Realtors, a Life Member of the Fayette County Board of Realtors' Million Dollar Club, and a recipient of the Million Dollar Club Award from the National Sales and Marketing Council of the National Association of Home Builders (NAHB). She also holds the Accredited Buyer Representative (ABR) designation.
