Wednesday, June 13, 2001 Builders meeting set for tomorrow The Midwest Georgia Home Builders Association and Sales & Marketing Council organizations will have their first ever joint meeting hursday, June 14, at the Wyndham Peachtree Conference Center. The luncheon meeting will begin at 11:30 a.m. Speakers will include Chris Clark, president and CEO of the Fayette County Development Authority, and Tom Carty, Peachtree City building official, who will give an update on 2000 building codes. The Home Builders Association's 2001 Scholarship House award recipients will also be recognized. Southern Community Bank is serving as an underwriter sponsor this year for association meetings. The Home Builders Association of Midwest Georgia, which serves builders in Fayette, Coweta, Spalding, Heard and Meriwether counties, currently has around 460 members.
