I know we all receive information on the Internet, some of which should go immediately into the garbage bin from whence it started and some of which should go into our hearts and into our "action bins." Personally I feel this is worth repeating and acting upon. This is a newsletter I receive which I have discovered does give factual, worthwhile information. This, (in my most humble opinion; my wife says I have no humble opinions; I wonder where she gets these ideas) is justthe tip if the iceberg I'm sure. God bless the Boy Scouts for having the moral courage to stand up to the homosexual juggernaut in the media and with certain senators in this country. "The petitions all involve S. 1, the hugely complex education bill that was originally the Bush education reform package. It has since been hijacked by senators Ted Kennedy, Hillary Clinton, Jim Jeffords and others like them who have added dangerous pro-homosexual and anti-Christian provisions. "S. 1 currently contains sections on hate crimes that will promote homosexuality in the public schools. The bill also contains 'safe schools' provisions that promote homosexuality under the guise of protecting homosexual students from discrimination or 'hate-motivated incidents.' In addition, there are no protections in the bill against anti-Christian bigotry. Children who oppose homosexuality on moral grounds will be targeted for retraining to have their attitudes changed. "Sen. Jesse Helms, R-N.C., is offering an amendment to S. 1 that will deny federal funds to any government agency that forbids the Boy Scouts from using public school or other public facilities. The homosexual lobby wants to punish the Scouts because of its policy banning homosexuals from membership. Helms wants to save the Boy Scouts from discrimination. This petition urges the president to veto S. 1 if it contains any hate crime language and if it contains no protections against anti-Christian bigotry. Please sign these today! Jesus forgave the woman brought to him who had been caught in the very act of adultery (I always wondered where the man was); yet, in total compassion, forgave her. But then he uttered extremely important words to her. He said, "Go your way and sin no more." These are the words that no one wants to remember or hear. The Rev.
