Red Cross sets June schedule

The American Red Cross South Metro Service Center will offer the following courses in June:

Basic first aid (without CPR), June 3, 9 a.m.-1 p.m., $30.

International humanitarian law, June 6, 8 a.m.-1 p.m., free.

Red Cross international relief and development, June 6, 1­5 p.m., free.

Adult, infant and child CPR with first aid, June 10, 8:30 a.m-6:30 p.m., $50.

Introduction to disaster, June 14, 9 a.m.­noon, free.

Adult CPR, June 20, 9 a.m.­1 p.m., $30.

Adult CPR with first aid, June 24, 8:30 a.m.­3 p.m., $40.

The South Metro Red Cross Service Center is always in need of volunteers. A volunteer orientation will be conducted Saturday, June 9, 10 a.m., 1115 Mount Zion Rd., Suite H, Morrow.

The introduction to disaster services class is a pre-requisite course for Red Cross disaster volunteers. All Red Cross disaster training is free. For information phone Angela Shannon at 770-961-2552.
