Cedar Grove Assn. begins new term Cedar Grove Community Association Inc. chose officers for the coming year during its regular bimonthly meeting recently. Also, reports were given of the association's efforts in the Cedar Grove Lakes zoning by Abby Jordon and Larry Hyde, airport runway expansion by Rex Renfrow, and continued efforts to encourage the Fulton County Board of Commissioners follow the 2015 land use plan for South Fulton that the board approved in 1999. Association officers and directors for 2001-2002 are Larry Hyde, president; Paul Craig, vice president, and Jim Stevens, secretary/treasurer. Directors are Maggie Arnold, Abby Jordon, Terry McDaniel, Chuck Miller, Truitt Putnam and Keith Whyte. Members also heard a talk on conservation and smart growth given by a representative of The Sierra Club. The CGCA is seeking members from families who live in the community bounded by the river on the north, Rivertown Road on the west, White Mill Road on the south and Campbellton Fairburn Road (Ga. Highway 92) on the east. Members meet first Mondays of January, March, May, September and November at the Cedar Grove Community Center, Cedar Grove Road at Brock Road.
