Local youth picked for FBI leadership training

A local high school student has been selected to represent Georgia at the Federal Bureau of Investigation's youth leadership program.

Josh Isaac, a sophomore at McIntosh, will participate in the week-long leadership development program in July. The program will be held in Washington, D.C. and at Quantico, Va. at the FBI National Academy's facility.

Isaac was chosen after an intensive selection process which judged applicants based on their academics, extracurricular activities, leadership abilities, a written essay and a personal interview.

Isaac is active in the band, student government, the Key Club, Fireman Explorers and Police Explorers. He has also attained the rank of Eagle Scout, the highest honor bestowed upon Boy Scouts.

Isaac plans to major in criminal justice in college.
