Luncheon honors mothers The Community Welcome House, a shelter in Newnan for battered and homeless women, recently had its first luncheon honoring mothers at the Culpepper House Bed and Breakfast in Senoia, with 40 guests attending. Leah Seabaugh and her daughter, Karen, accompanied by Susan Lieberman on the piano, provided special music. The tables were decorated with flower baskets by Marilyn Wright Designs. Nathie Jaye greeted guests on behalf of the Welcome House. Board president the Rev. John Hagen gave the invocation. During the luncheon Hagen introduced JoAnn Sadowski, administrator of the Georgian Place, who presented Hagen with a check for the proceeds of the recent flea market, bake and craft sale at the Georgian Place in Newnan for the benefit of the Welcome House. In addition to Maggie Armstrong and Barbara Storm of the Culpepper House, sponsors include Phil Aaron-State Farm Insurance, Bank of Coweta, Binion Tire Co. Brother's Ltd, Cooks Office Equipment, Immanuel Bible College, First Georgia Telecom Inc., First National Mortgage of Georgia, Maureen Gabriel of Colomer USA, Dr. Kevin R.
