Police Blotter

The following arrests were reported by the Peachtree City Police Department for the past week:

Christopher Houston, 36, of Peachtree City April 27 for driving with a suspended license and making an improper U-turn.

Ray Martin Strozier, 30, of Senoia April 27 for driving without insurance and speeding.

Richard Albert Girard, 38, of Peachtree City April 30 for DUI and possession of an open container of alcohol.

A juvenile April 28 for driving while unlicensed.

Michael Yeager, 22, of Newnan April 29 for possession of marijuana (less than one ounce).

John W. Harmon III, 19, of Peachtree City April 29 for DUI and failure to maintain lane.

Angela Warner, 40, of Peachtree City April 30 for driving with a suspended license, improper use of a center lane, making an improper left turn and failure to maintain lane.

Six juveniles were arrested April 30 for fighting in a public place after officers were called to Harmony Village Apartments in reference to a public disturbance. All juveniles were released to their guardians.

Edgar Diaz, 20, of Newnan May 1 for driving without a license and driving without insurance.

Phyllis Godfrey, 44, of Atlanta May 1 for driving with a suspended license, driving without insurance, unlawful use of a license plate and theft by receiving.

Jose Rivera, 26, of Newnan May 1 for driving without a license and driving on the wrong side of the road.

Joshua Wofford, 20, May 5 for possession of an open container of alcohol and underage possession of alcohol.

Lary Johnson, 22, May 5 for furnishing alcohol to a minor.

Two juveniles, May 5 for underage possession of alcohol.

A juvenile was arrested May 6 for DUI and underage possession of alcohol.

James Branson, 26, of Fairburn May 7 for possession of marijuana (less than one ounce) and improperly displaying a vehicle tag.

A juvenile May 7 for possession of marijuana (less than one ounce).

Eight suspects for underage possession of alcohol after they were encountered at the pool at Amli Apartments April 29: Kevin Sweeney, 20, of Auburn, Ala.; Dustin Capehart, 19, of Fayetteville; Jonathan Sherrill, 19, of Douglasville; Raymond Nicelson, 19, of Hapeville, Travis Hugens, 19, of Young Harris; Stephanie Hamlet, 20, of Peachtree City; James Morgan, 20, of Peachtree City and a juvenile.
