Wednesday, May 9, 2001 McKillop, Story reach GRI Carolyn McKillop and Marie Story, both with Century 21 Southern Crescent in Fayetteville, have completed the curriculum required to achieve the Graduate Realtor Institute (GRI) designation. They earned the GRI by attending a specific, intensive series of a minimum of 90 hours of classroom instruction, covering subjects that include contract law, professional standards, sales and marketing, finance, and risk reduction. Through increased awareness of current topics important to the real estate professional, such as legal issues, these Realtors can better serve prospective clients and customers. McKillop is an Accredited Buyers Representative and a member of the Fayette County Million Dollar Club. Story, who is fluent in Spanish, also is an Accredited Buyers Representative, member of the National Association of Hispanic Real Estate Professionals and is working toward her Certified Association Property Specialist designation. The GRI designation sets apart agents in their field, indicating to the public that they have obtained a professional educational foundation on which to base the services they provide to the public and hold membership in the National Association of Realtors. McKillop and Story can be reached at Century 21 Southern Crescent, 635 N. Glynn Street (Ga. Highway 85), Fayetteville, 770-461-5111.
