Wednesday, May 9, 2001 Autumn Ridge open in Griffin Forrest Homes has announced the opening of Autumn Ridge, a new single-family residential community in Spalding County. Located on Wilson Road just a few minutes from Interstate 75, Autumn Ridge has a total of 190 homesites, and the homes there will be priced from the $120,000s to the $140,000s. The community, which is inside the city limits of Griffin, will have streetlights and sidewalks and will be totally electric. It is within walking distance of the new Spalding High School and Futral Elementary School. Autumn Ridge homebuyers have a variety of ranch, split foyer and two-story plans to choose from. The homes will contain from 1,500 to 1,750 sq. ft. of living space. The seller is paying points and closing costs, and special financing allows for a zero deposit and a total of only $999 to move in.
