Scranage earns GRI designation

Cheri Scranage of ERA Preferred Realty has earned the Graduate, Realtor Institute (GRI) Designation from the Georgia Association of Realtors. It was awarded at Callaway Gardens after she completed three week-long courses and passed a written exam at the end of each session.

The nationally recognized Realtor designation is awarded to professionals who have completed 90 hours of instruction in contract law, sales, marketing, finance, professional standards and risk reduction. Courses are taught by leading real estate instructors from around the country.

Scranage joins a select group (105 new designees) of other residential specialists in Georgia who have earned the designation this year.

Associated with ERA Preferred Realty since 1996, Scranage is an active member of the Fayette County Board of Realtors as a local Director. She chairs the Marketing/Public Relations Committee and sits on several other Board committees. She is a current member of the Board's Million Dollar Club and was awarded ERA Preferred Realty's Spirit Award for 2000.

Cheri and her husband, Lyal, have two children, Dana and Adam, and have lived here in Peachtree City since 1988.
