Our Lady of Victory hosts health fair

A community health fair hosted by Our Lady of Victory Catholic School is scheduled for Monday from 8-11:30 a.m.

OLV is providing this service to Fayette, Coweta and south Fulton communities as well as surrounding counties. Blood pressure screening, foot/ankle exams and osteoporosis testing will be offered free of charge.

Mammograms, CAT scan 2000, and glucose/cholesterol screening will be offering for a fee. If you would like a mammogram, please call the OLV office at 770-306-9026 to set up an appointment. You will need a doctor's order or prescription for a mammogram.

For a CAT scan 2000 appointment you will need to call 1-877-828-7475. For a glucose/cholesterol screening you must fast 12 hours in advance.

Public safety personnel from Fayette County will be on hand to demonstrate seat belt safety and share information about senior safety. The Red Cross will offer a program on health for seniors. Representatives from a chiropractic office, a pediatric dental office, the American Cancer Association, and SP Recycling will also be giving demonstrations and sharing information.
