Police apprehend two juveniles for golf course arson
By JOHN
MUNFORD Two juveniles have been arrested in connection with setting a restroom building on the Braelinn Golf Course on fire just before spring break. Police said the two juveniles were charged with arson and curfew violation. The fire occurred April 1 after 4 a.m. at the building near the sixth tee on the course. Evidence found near the scene led investigators to believe the fire was set intentionally. A reward was later offered for information leading up to the arrest and conviction of the person or persons responsible for the crime. After the fire, officials said it was fortunate the blaze didn't spread, considering the building was located near a wooded area adjacent to a subdivision.
