Church rooms vandalized in Fayetteville

A fire extinguisher was used to damage three rooms at Fayetteville First United Methodist Church sometime after Sunday services and before 6 p.m., according to police reports.

A Nazi swastika was drawn in the dust on a desk in one room, according to the report. Fayetteville police also recovered the fire extinguisher that was likely used in the incident so it can be processed for fingerprints, the report said.
