Planning Commission cancels tree meeting The Fayette County Planning Commission will wait another month before discussing the latest changes to the county's tree ordinance. The commission has cancelled its regular work session, set for Thursday at the County Administrative Complex, because some members can't attend. A new section for the tree ordinance that deals with commercial logging operations is under consideration. Loggers would be required to maintain buffers, retain a specified number of trees even outside those buffers, and clean up logging sites after cutting.
