Monarch Village opens ninth designer model

Pathway Communities, developer of Monarch Village, a 440-acre master-planned community in fast-growing Henry County, is pleased to announce the opening of the David Weekley Homes model.

This model represents the community's ninth fully-furnished designer model home.

David Weekley Homes is one of the country's largest and most respected home builders and their work has recently been featured on NBC's Today Show.

According to Charles Biele, Pathway Communities senior vice president and general manager, the David Weekley model is the ninth of 13 decorated model homes planned for Monarch Village.

"Monarch Village is the only master-planned community in the area with nine designer model homes and nearly 100 spec homes under construction," says Biele. "In order to fully tell the Monarch Village story, we believe it is necessary to give home buyers tangible evidence of the range of choice in each neighborhood at Monarch Village, not just a copy of an elevation and floor plan."

Biele concludes, "At Monarch Village, we've made a conscious decision to make home shopping a pleasurable experience."

With homes priced from the $100s to more than $300, Monarch Village has more than 125 acres of green space and natural areas, a 16-acre lake with boating facilities, a community clubhouse, a resort-style pool with tower waterslide and water mushroom, eight lighted tennis courts and a variety of community parks and village gathering places.

The community will have a commercial Village Square featuring a variety of shops, offices and neighborhood services. An on-site elementary school is also proposed for Monarch Village.

In addition, the community offers a unique technology program, including upgraded wiring for every home, the potential for ultra-fast Internet access and an interactive community Intranet.

To visit Monarch Village, take I-75 south to exit 228. Go right on Hwy. 138 and turn left on Speer Road, then left on Walt Stephens Road.
