Disharoon receives GRI designation

Angie Disharoon of Tri-City Realty has earned the Graduate, Realtor Institute (GRI)designation from the Georgia Association of Realtors. It was awarded in February at Callaway Gardens after she completed three week-long courses and passed a written exam at the end of each session.

This nationally recognized Realtor designation is awarded to professionals who have completed 90 hours of instruction in contract law, sales, marketing, finance, professional standards and risk reduction. Courses are taught by leading real estate instructors from around the country. Disharoon joins a select group (105 new designees) of other residential specialists in Georgia who have earned the designation this year.

Associated with Tri-City Realty since 1999, Disharoon actively participates in the Realtor Organization. Serving as chairman of membership for the Fayette County Board of Realtors and vice-chairman of the Political Action Committee, she is a current member of the board's Million Dollar Club. Also active in the Fayette County chapter of Women's Council of Realtors, she serves as an Ambassador.

Angie and her husband Jeff reside in Brooks. In her free time she enjoys equestrian activities and competes in barrel racing at rodeos throughout the southeast.
