Jernigan named Agent of the Year

Myra C. Jernigan, GRI, CRS, was named Agent of the Year by Century 21 Scarbrough Properties in Tyrone for the tenth time.

Myra has been with Century 21 Scarbrough Properties since beginning her career in 1985. When asked what has kept her loyalty to the company over the years, she states, "I have a very ethical and honest broker. The company has been in business since 1973 and has a good reputation in the community."

Jernigan's individual achievements within the industry prove her abilities.She has received more awards than any other associate with the Century 21 Scarbrough Properties office.

For the past five years she has won the Centurion Award, which is given to the top 2 percent of agents nationwide. The Fayette County Board of Realtors honored her with the Phoenix Award in 1999 for 10 years of million-dollar production.

Jernigan believes in being fair to all home buyers and sellers. Her professionalism is reflected by her numerous repeat buyers and the referrals they consistently send her way.

According to her co-workers, Jernigan is a highly respected and very dedicated professional within the real estate industry. She is a native of south Fulton and currently resides in Sharpsburg with her husband, who is pastor of Arnco Baptist Church in Newnan. She has four children and eight grandchildren.
