Wednesday, April 11, 2001 Fitzgerald named Agent of the Year Susan Fitzgerald is Agent of the Year for The Home Source Realtors with residential real estate volume in excess of $25 million. This is the fifth consecutive year Fitzgerald has been named the company's top listing and selling agent. She is affiliated with the Peachtree City general brokerage office. The announcement was made recently at the company's awards banquet at the Wyndham Peachtree Conference Center. Fitzgerald has been a Realtor since 1992, and she added her Registered Appraiser skills after relocating to Peachtree City from Nebraska in 1994. "Susan is known by her customers and fellow real estate professionals as an expert at customer service," said Tutt Larsen, The Home Source Realtors' broker. "She is adept at listening to the housing wants and needs of buyers and sellers, and goes out of her way to provide quick, efficient assistance." It was Fitzgerald's outgoing personality and communication skills that led the diminutive dynamo to real estate. "I really enjoy working with people, and I like houses. It was a good fit," she said. "The fast pace and constantly meeting new people suits me better than my former profession in computer programming. I'm not a desk person."
