Police Blotter Arrests The following arrests were reported by the Fayette County Sheriff's Department for the past week: Pamela Bernell Butler, 46, for battery. Macy Taylor Landrum, 28, for making harassing phone calls. Thomas Patton Swiger, 28, for failure to appear in court. Frederick Trenard Stephens, 21, for two felony counts of deposit account fraud. Jack Dale Butler, 45, for simple battery. Stephon Wayne Rowell, 27, for driving with a suspended license and driving without proof of insurance. Betty Merlene Ayers, 37, for passing a bad check. Angela Yvonne Strozier, 31, for abandonment of a minor child. Joyce Lakes Sturgill, 47, for theft by shoplifting. William Taylor Yawn, 23, for violation of probation. Jimmie Alexander Woods, 20, for underage possession of alcohol. William Daniel Mosely, 30, for violation of probation. Cheryl Lynne Via, 45, for passing a bad check. Shelley Denise Bennett, 25, for theft by taking. George Edward Childs, 57, for failure to appear in court. Donald Peat, 17, for underage possession of alcohol. Ryan G. Davis, 17, for underage possession of alcohol. Christopher L. Sims, 28, for obstruction of a police officer. Lauren Chrissy Lester, 18, for violation of probation. Ava Campbell Freeman, 39, for deposit account fraud. Cortez Peters, 22, for one felony count of violation of the Georgia controlled substances act.
