Tyrone Publix plans on table at P&Z meeting Tyrone residents who are curious about a new shopping center in the town need to head to the Planning Commission meeting tomorrow. Town manager Barry Amos said the planners will discuss developer Phil Seay's plans for a Publix-based shopping center at the intersection of Ga. Highway 74 and Carriage Lane Road. The property is part of the John Wieland Planned Unit Development that a Superior Court decided could be built several years ago. The meeting starts at 7 p.m. at Tyrone Town Hall and Amos said the planners are looking to make sure the center is a "quality development." What do you think of this story?
