County, city officials meet Tuesday in Peachtree City

The Association of Fayette County Governments has scheduled a meeting for Tuesday, March 27, at 7 p.m. at City Hall in Peachtree City.

All elected officials in Fayette County and its municipalities are invited to attend and participate. The various governing bodies routinely advertise this as a regular meeting so that all legal requirements are met should a quorum of any city council attend the meeting.

This gives county and city officials an opportunity to discuss matters of importance to all of them, although there is little in the way of specifics on Tuesday's agenda, which lists the election of officers, a county Board of Education update, and "open discussion" among the scheduled items.
