Wednesday, March 14, 2001 ARC honors Monarch Village Monarch Village, the 440-acre master-planned community in Stockbridge that is being developed by Pathway Communities, has recently been honored by the Atlanta Regional Commission (ARC) with a Development of Excellence award for its innovative development initiatives. The ARC recognized Monarch Village for its traditional neighborhood development concept and its commitment to the environment through preserving more than 125 acres of the 440-acre community. "It is an honor to be the only master-planned community in Atlanta's southern crescent to be selected as a Development of Excellence," says Charles Biele, Pathway Communities senior vice president and general manager in charge of development at Monarch Village.
