White new Cedarcroft rep

Elaine White has been named as Ravin Homes' marketing representative in Cedarcroft, a new single-family residential community in the western part of Peachtree City.

Ms. White has worked in real estate in Fayette County for the past three years, and she is a member of the Million Dollar Club.

Homesite reservations in Cedarcroft can be made with a $500 deposit, and information about this can be made by contacting Ms. White at 770-487-9608.

Homes in Cedarcroft have prices starting at $140,000, and Phase I of the 220-home community contains a total of 64 homesites.

The community is located off MacDuff Parkway, which runs off Highway 54 west of Highway 74 North, with St. Albans Way as the entrance road into the community.

Cedarcroft is Fayette County's first community of system-built homes.

Partnering with Ravin Homes in construction of the homes is Nationwide Homes, a 40-year-old Martinsville, VA, firm, which has a facility in Arabi, GA.

Michael Rossetti, president of Ravin Homes, said that system-built homes offer many advantages to the homebuyer.

"They are designed and built in a climate-controlled environment and never affected by bad weather, and they are submitted to 300 inspections to ensure top quality," he explained.

"Also, this kind of housing is very cost effective, and they are built in one-third of the time it generally takes to build a house."

He cited other advantages as energy efficiency and use of the latest construction technology.

Ravin Homes, which will finish up the homes as they arrive on site in Peachtree City, is offering a number of options for homebuyers, including cabinet selection, hardwood floors, jacuzzi tubs, ceramic tile baths, countertop color selections, carpet selection, and many more items.

The Cedarcroft homes will contain from 1,300 to 2,000 sq. ft., and a variety of ranch and two-story designs will be available.

The community's second phase will include 81 homesites, and 75 lots will be in the third and final phase.
