SummerGrove amenities a big draw

With over 300 home sales in less than two years, SummerGrove at Newnan has quickly become one of Atlanta's best-selling master-planned communities.

Dan Camp, Pathway Communities vice president and general manager, who is in charge of development at SummerGrove, believes the community's amenity package is one of the biggest draw for home buyers.

"At SummerGrove, we put a heavy emphasis on amenities," says Camp. "Through surveys, we are finding home buyers are choosing SummerGrove primarily because of its vast selection of amenities."

SummerGrove's amenities include an 18-hole, Golf Digest-ranked golf course, a 100-acre private lake, over five miles of pedestrian paths and sidewalks, a competition-size swimming pool and clubhouse, eight tennis courts and a variety of tot lots and neighborhood playgrounds.

SummerGrove also offers a unique technology program for every home. The program includes structured wiring, the potential for ultra-fast Internet access and an exclusive community Intranet built specially for the residents of SummerGrove.

SummerGrove's uniqueness spans more than amenities and technology. SummerGrove is the only Atlanta-area master-planned community with 13 decorated models.

"In order to fully tell the SummerGrove story, we believe it is necessary to give home buyers tangible evidence of the range of choice in each neighborhood, not just a copy of an elevation and a floor plan," says Camp. "At SummerGrove, we've made a conscious decision to make home shopping a pleasurable experience."

Home styles in SummerGrove range from traditional to turn-of-the-century to custom and are priced from the mid $100s to over $500,000.

SummerGrove is located at the intersection of Lower Fayetteville Road and Shenandoah Blvd in Newnan. The Information Center is open Monday-Saturday 11 a.m.-6 p.m and Sunday 1 p.m.-6 p.m. For more information, call (770) 252-9000, or visit the Web site at www.summergrove.com.
