Wednesday, March 14, 2001 Shells teaming up Longtime Peachtree City Realtor Jo Ann Shell has announced that she is teaming up with her husband Tom to provide an enhanced and broader service to her long list of previous clientele and new customers. Tom, recently retired from Delta Air Lines and now himself a licensed Realtor, will affiliate with Prudential Georgia Realty's Peachtree City office to assist Jo Ann full-time. Lynda Dunn, managing broker of the Peachtree City office, stated, "I think they [Tom and Jo Ann] will make a great team. Jo Ann has already established an incredible sense of loyalty with her previous clients. Tom is the consummate 'people person,' which will only build on that reputation." Tom agrees. "We've been married for nearly 38 years. I think that makes a statement about our ability to work together and support each other," he said. "I've had lots of fun over the years introducing Jo Ann as my 'first' wife. Now I can introduce her as my teammate as well." Jo Ann takes a more pragmatic position. "We have a definite mission to accomplish," she said. "High standards of professionalism and staying focused on our clients' needs will be our top business priorities. We are committed tothese fundamental tenets." Jo Ann is a Lifetime Member of the Fayette Board of Realtors Million Dollar Club, holds the Certified Residential Specialist designation and is a recipient of the coveted Phoenix Award, which honors Realtors with 10 or more consecutive years of million-dollar performance. She is a member of Prudential's Leading Edge Society, an award bestowed to the top 5 percent of Prudential Realtors nationally and holds a Georgia broker's license.
