Work at Graeagle picking up

More builders are preparing to begin working in Graeagle, the exclusive gated community off Georgia Hwy. 27/41 in Meriwether County, as the first home there nears completion.

T. G. Adams Construction Co. Inc. is building the initial home in Graeagle, a Stephen Fuller plan containing approximately 4,000 sq. ft. and priced at $550,000. Michael Brookings, a Pine Mountain builder, and Joe Woods from Molena are expected to join the builder lineup in the near future.

Situated halfway between Greenville and Warm Springs, Graeagle is located only one mile from the airport in Warm Springs. The developer of the community is Labrah Associates.

Graeagle has 35 one- to three-acre wooded homesite. Some of the homes in Graeagle will be European designs with stucco exteriors, and others will feature traditional brick exteriors.

The community will have a neighborhood association and an impressive list of amenities, including walking paths, a covered bridge, and a scenic area featuring a fountain.

The 33-acre Graeagle Lake will have a gazebo plus a boat dock and launch area in Turtle Cove, with Honker Bay serving as the mooring site for the Graeagle Party Barge and Tiki Lagoon providing an area for recreational functions.

The property's country setting, which is abundant with mature hardwoods, is an ideal setting for wildlife.

Graeagle will have lighted streets and will be served by underground utilities and a private water system. Yard maintenance and domestic services will be available for residents.
