Fayette post offices now open at 8 a.m. Post offices in Peachtree City and Fayetteville are now open an hour earlier to give customers a chance to stop by before work. "It was so crowded in the morning, and we're trying to give better customer service," said Postmaster Tourgee Simpson. "Opening an hour earlier would eliminate some of the noonday traffic," he added.
