Krakeel to make appeal in Brooks The Brooks Town Council will hear Fayette County Fire Chief Jack Krakeel at its regular meeting tonight at 7:30. When the town donated the land for a new fire station in Brooks three years ago, it put several restrictions on the gift. The town also assumed that it would get the old fire station building back in return. Krakeel will appeal to the council to lift some of the original restrictions and to discuss the height of a proposed cell tower.
