Head-on DUI collision injures Senoia woman
A Senoia woman was seriously injured Feb. 20 after her car crossed the center line on Ga. Highway 74 South and struck another car head-on, according to police reports. Cheri Denise Euton, 38, was trapped in the vehicle on Hwy. 74 near Crosstown Drive, according to reports. She was extricated from the early morning crash by the Peachtree City Fire and Rescue Department and flown to Atlanta Medical Center for treatment. Police later determined Euton was on drugs at the time and charged her with DUI, failure to maintain lane and failure to wear a seatbelt. The driver of the car Euton struck, Matthew C. MacNamara, 34, received minor injuries and was taken to Fayette Community Hospital for observation. According to the accident report, Euton was travelling north on 74 when a witness behind her vehicle noticed her weaving over the roadway. Seconds later, the collision occurred. John Munford
