Edwards sets meeting on environment

Fulton County District 7 Commissioner William "Bill" Edwards will host a town hall meeting Tuesday, March 13 on environment and health issues in the district.

The meeting will be at the South Fulton Service Center, 5600 Stonewall Tell Road, College Park, starting at 7 p.m.

Area residents are invited to discuss their concerns about topics such as air and water quality, environmental justice, and data that reveal serious health and mortality trends among the population.

District 7, the county's largest geographically, consists of portions of southwest Atlanta, and south and southwest Fulton County, including East Point, Hapeville, College Park, Union City, Fairburn and Palmetto.
