Fayette County GOP sets mass meetings and County Convention The Fayette County Republican Party will convene precinct mass meetings Saturday, March 3, at 9 a.m. to elect delegates and alternates to the Fayette County Republican Party Convention. The County Convention will convene at 10 a.m. March 3 at the same location for the purpose of electing delegates and alternates to the Congressional District Convention and State Convention, as well as electing Officers for the Fayette County Republican Party. Both conventions are to be at the Sandy Creek High School Commons at 360 Jenkins Road in Tyrone. Registration will be $5 and all Fayette County residents who are legally registered to vote and believe in the principles of the Republican Party are invited to participate in this process. The 3rd Congressional District Convention will convene April 7 at 10 a.m. at Northgate High School on 3220 Fisher Road in Newnan, Ga. The Georgia Republican Party State Convention will convene May 4 at 2 p.m. in Atlanta.
