Juvenile arrested for tossing water balloons at cars Peachtree City police believe they have caught the water balloon bandit. For at least six months, motorists in the area of Crosstown Road have reported that water balloons were thrown at their vehicles. In fact, two such cases were reported just last week. A 16-year-old boy was arrested by police Sunday for a similar crime. The youth was charged with 18 counts of reckless conduct, according to police. Maj. Mike DuPree said the suspect was apprehended on Crosstown Road near Loghouse Road during the evening hours. That's the same location where a similar incident was reported several days before, according to police reports. Reports also indicated that water balloons were thrown at a vehicle on Cameron Trail at the intersection of Terrace Way on Thursday, Feb. 1. Another motorist recently reported that a thrown rock cracked the windshield of his vehicle, reports indicate. John Munford
