CCSU plans Feb. 24 open house

Clayton College & State University will host an open house for high school students Saturday, Feb. 24, from 10 a.m. to 1 p.m.

The program begins in the university's Harry S. Downs Center for Continuing Education with an introductory session featuring speakers and a panel discussion, and concludes, following a campus tour, with a browse fair in the student center.

The open house offers an opportunity for high school students and their parents to interact with faculty and students; get an overview of academic programs, student life and financial aid; and have a guided tour of the campus.

The program will culminate at 11:45 a.m. in the student center with a browse fair featuring displays and exhibits representing various campus departments, academic programs, student services, extracurricular activities and student organizations.

There is no fee to attend the program, but reservations are required. Phone the Clayton State admissions office at 770-961-3500 or visit the Web site at www.clayton.edu/admissions. Sign-in for the open house begins at 9:45 a.m. in Spivey Hall.

Clayton College & State University, a member of the University System ofGeorgia, is in Morrow in south metro Atlanta and is the only four-year institution in the state where all students and faculty members have notebook computers.
