Line Creek water quality is subject of presentation By JOHN
MUNFORD
The history and future of water quality in Line Creek will be the topic of a presentation sponsored by the Line Creek Association of Fayette County Tuesday, Feb. 13. The presentation, downstairs at the Peachtree City Library, will cover evidence of how Line Creek used to be before Peachtree City was heavily inhabited, said Dennis Chase of the Line Creek Association. Chase said participants also will discuss the current status of Line Creek and what could occur in the future. Also, the potential creation of Lake McIntosh as another reservoir will be addressed since it ties in to Line Creek's water quality, he added. The meeting will be from 7 p.m. to approximately 8:45. The public is invited, especially those who are interested in water quality issues in Fayette County, Chase said.
